Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn

01.01.2009

A violent, chess-like strategy game where you have to free your country from tyranny.

Dawn Brigade´s home land is occupied by Begnion, and has to be freed from their tyranny. The game is a little like chess – you move once, and attack once per round. Watch out! If one of your members die they can´t be saved, and you´re one man down. You yourself can´t take much, and you have to be both a good strategist and very patient if you´re to complete the whole game. You can only attack from certain distances, and the equipment you have on your team members decides how much damage they give or take. Every time you attack you get a little film from the fight between attacker and opponent.

Child suitability:
The whole game is extremely difficult and quite violent. The controls are advanced, and it´s far too easy to arrive at “game over.” It´s like chess, except that your opponent only has queens whilst you only have kings.
