Help Sid and all his friends in this fun and challenging game suitable for children from 10 years of age.

The story begins when Sid tells a story about himself and his friends to Manfred and Ellie’s children. All the stories he tells must be played through. The first level is simple. Here you meet the crazy twins Crash and Eddie. They tell you how to steer Sid and the other characters, at the same time as they give you hints and information. Amongst other things, they tell you how to pick berries, and what berries do what. Some of the berries allow you to shop, other ones give you health. There are also some rare berries that are very valuable.

After this you follow Crash and Eddie to a crystal. All the levels in the game have crystals, and some of them are very difficult to find. When you’ve fetched the crystal you find out that you have to get another, and you’re also told how you fight animals that want to stop you. You have two forms of attack, a weak one where Sid hits his enemies with his claws and a stronger one where Sid jumps into the air and lands with his belly on the enemy.

There isn’t much violence in the game, even though you have to get rid of mean animals now and then. When the animals die they are transformed into leaves and leave berries for you to collect. The game is very varied, and the missions are performed in many different ways. For example, you have to stand on rolling snowballs, run from hungry dinosaurs, throw snowballs on birds and surf on branches through a thick forest. All the different missions are varied and challenging, and not least funny. There is a lot of humor in the game, and much of it is in the dialogue. The music, unfortunately, doesn’t have the greatest quality. It is repetitive and can get a bit tiring, but at times it’s very good. The graphics are a bit old, but it doesn’t matter so much seeing as the graphics don’t play a very big role. In this game it’s the humor that counts, and there are many funny episodes that’ll make both young and old laugh.

”Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs” is a nice and cosy children’s’ game, brimming with humor and challenges. The game isn’t very difficult, and for the slightly older children it might get a little too easy. The humor will nevertheless make up for this. All in all, this is a good game, and it will certainly please all the fans of the Ice Age-movies.
