Throw yourself into the fight and defend your country – both on land, at sea and in the air!
Battalion Wars is a strategy roleplay game where you have the command over soldiers on foot, in tanks, on scouting vehicles, in u-boats, in helicopters and lots more! You have full control over all units, at the same time as steering one of them. Every unit has it´s weaknesses and strengths. Soldiers with bazookas are for example strong against tanks, but very weak against soldiers with flames. The game is set in different nations, and you play the country defending itself. It´s all about keeping your cool, thinking tactically and giving the right soldiers the right tasks. And the whole game is made in a fun cartoon style, with funny voices and good war music in the background.
Child suitability:
The game is a straight forward war game, but the violence is in no way realistic. The characters look more like Lego people than humans, and when you get rid of an enemy he falls on the ground, gets a small skull over his body and disappears after a few seconds. There´s no blood or loose body parts. The controls are easy to handle. You aim and shoot with the Wii remote and wander around with the Nunchuck.
